Stumbling on my Path

Based on Workbook lesson 1:
“Nothing I see here means anything”

Alone I have been stumbling on my path –
Through sin and errors I have always made,
A tale of wicked sin a man learns thus –
Through trusting in wrong hands his holy fate.
Where have I been, in places so revolving,
That I have lost my pure will resolving?

And tales of wicked sin indeed I saw
Through putting all my trust in wicked deeds,
Through trusting my own life in ego’s lore
I suffered thus, my heart with pain still bleeds.
And through all things I see, I am condemned,
With lies of world so vile I’m overwhelmed.

Each body or a thing through hate I find
Is seen in blinded eyes as pure salvation’s hand,
The meaning I assign is in my mind
And through investing my whole Self in it, I’m damned.
What meaning did I put in all these things?
Invested into lies, I see the dreams.

Forgiving each and every sin is only path!
Before I can return where I belong,
I must undo the meaning I’ve assigned, and thus
The journey of this world will not take long.
The judgment of all things my eyes did see
Must be undone, before I let my Self to be.

The Moment of Temptation

As I go now about this task
I do condemn myself to death
I’m not my Self, on put the mask,
And I believe that it’s this breath,

That is my life, this body’s me,
I’m mortal, empty shell about to die,
I have this thought of not allowing be,
My nature, purpose, love of mine.

And I am raising against God,
Thinking my will can conquer His,
My true self I remember not,
I have forgotten laughing at mistakes, it is

A shame I am so lost
This very moment choice I make:
This pain accepting as the cost,
Putting my true life at the stake.

The Light

You see yourself as sinful, guilty and fearful. By this “seeing” you are creating yourself as such. Is it your will to be called these names, that you yourself came up with? Do you want suffering or peace?

How do you change this view of yourself? How do you start seeing yourself in true light? You cannot accomplish this through affirmations or intellectual reasoning. The only way you can see yourself as Light is to see all your Brothers as Light. Every tiny bit of darkness you find in another will be multiplied and reflected in you.

When you condemn your Brother into darkness, do you suppose that Light will be shown to you? Do you believe that Light is something a separated body can ever have?

The Light is all there is. It includes everything, as it is everything. It loves everyone, because everyone is standing in the Light. Realize that there is no darkness by not looking for darkness.

When I am tempted

When I am tempted,
I’m afraid.
I’m guilty,
And I hate:
I blame them,
I condemn,
I live in fear,
And I smear.

When I do all of this,
Can I expect a smile to be returned?
What am I choosing – hell or peace?
Will they believe it’s Love I’ve earned?

No, they reply the same:
They put me down in shame
And they blame.
They say:
I’m worthless,
Pitiful,
Deranged.
I’m plagued –
My hate still lives in them,
It is unchanged.

And when I love,
I feel such peace inside,
The light has finally entered in my sight.
I don’t see pain,
Nor suffering in vain,
I don’t condemn –
I don’t see them.

It’s only Love I see –
A Brother answered to my plea,
And now we’re One,
Both finally free.

When You Condemn

When you condemn,
You misperceive.
It only seems you damn
The soul you look upon,
But condemnation nothing can achieve.

When you give curse,
You’re hurt inside.
You do not feel your worth,
It is the light in you
That you are trying to hide.

And when you hate –
You mostly hate yourself.
You see no longer straight,
For why would you be closing
In front of you the Heaven’s gate?

When you condemn,
You’re but asleep.
It looks like there’s you and them –
A foolish dream made possible
Because your slumber is so deep.

Forgiveness

To any Brother in the world you can extend your will – your love or hate.

You can condemn a brother, judge him for this or that, and it will make you burn with anger. You know you’re right, your anger’s justified. The condemnation is your will, if you identify with ego.

Or, you can Forgive. Forgiveness is extension of Love, which is beyond this world.

“How can you forgive when clearly he has sinned!?” – cries ego. And yet, true Forgiveness is gifted not for the repentance of the sin. Only the ego makes you ask for a condition before you can forgive.

True Forgiveness comes not on a condition, but from recognition – that sin is an illusion you project. Your Brother’s never sinned, and when you grant him that, how anything but Love be felt inside you for him?
